Welcome to Activ8 Leeds!

We’re an ambitious social enterprise with a global perspective. We provide affordable advocacy and network development services, feeding our profits back into high-impact education projects for disadvantaged communities in Africa and the UK.

Our work here in the UK focuses on providing advocacy, facilitation, development and network-building services, especially for the African diaspora. This enables us to build sustainable funding for community projects both here and internationally, creating positive change.

In Africa, our developing projects are geared to providing key resources for severely deprived schools in Ghana and Nigeria, as well as improving training and participation opportunities for teachers, all working in partnership with key local stakeholders thanks to extensive regional contacts.

Our services include

  • Advocacy – coaching and facilitation for individuals, community groups and the third sector
  • Network development – stakeholder engagement, building links, copywriting and strategic guidance
  • Consulting – helping you to grow your business with bespoke advice on working with African diaspora businesses and organisations in the north of England
  • Teacher training- helping to improve the delivery skills and subject knowledge of teachers from West Africa
  • Research and market intelligence – providing up-to-the-minute data on market conditions and development issues here in the UK and in Africa
